Okay, if I didn’t know more about your music tastes I would recommend bands like My Chemical Romance and Green Day, but they seem to be not so much your style? If that’s not the case, let me know and I will have much more for ya!
By the way, it won’t let me use more than one “enter” at once, so…
Reblogging as a reminder to myself to listen to more of these.
This playlist is just about the only thing that can get me to sleep on a restless night :)
Recommended!

I was only recently introduced to the work of Nils Frahm through a friend. What intrigued me about his most recent project, Felt, was his interesting recording technique.
Nils would be playing the piano late at night, and as a way not to disturb his neighbours he folded thick felt between the hammers and strings to dampen the sound. To record his music he placed a series of microphones in and around the piano to pick up the slightest sounds and mechanical noises of the instrument, which also ended up picking up Nils himself as you can hear him breathing throughout.
The result is peculiarly intermit, often feeling as if you are inside the piano, hearing every little noise and hammer bounce of the felt. Have a listen and see what you think.
Keep by Nils Frahm
Tag you music posts with MyEDOM and I’ll have a listen :)
